专利摘要:
The invention relates to a protective cover with a container (1) of a resilient, layer-shaped material, which can assume a substantially straight block shape with an open bottom. Along two opposite edges of the upper side of the straight block, lifting elements (2al-2dl, 2a2-2d2, 2e, 2t) are arranged which are distributed at at least three points along both edges. With the lifting elements distributed in this way, the protective cover can be easily lifted off without the risk of covers being tilted and locked in a position as it typically does if it is lifted at fewer points. The lifting elements can for instance consist of loops (2al-2d1, 2a2-2d2), tubes (Ze, 2D or rod-shaped elements. The rod-shaped elements can form part of a lifting fork. The distribution of the lifting force along many separate points or a longer continuous distance is particularly suitable or absolutely necessary if the container (1) has a greater height than width and / or larger length than width

Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of the invention seen from the side Fig. 2 shows the first embodiment seen from above Fig. 3 shows a second embodiment of the invention seen obliquely from above Description of preferred embodiments Fig. 1 shows a first embodiment of a protective cover according to the invention seen from the side.
The protective cover consists of a rectangular container 1 of tarpaulin or similar resilient layer material. The container with a straight block is intended to be lowered over a corresponding raw block-shaped element which is to be protected against rain, dirt or stone chips when transported on an open truck bed. The rectangular container surrounds the element on five sides; two opposite long sides illustrated in the figure, two opposite short sides and the top. The bottom of the container 1 is open and can receive the element inside the container.
On the upper side of the container, eight loops 2a-d are arranged, of which only four are visible in the figure.
Fig. 2 shows the first embodiment seen from above and here the eight loops 2a1-2dl, 2a2-2d2 are clearly illustrated which are arranged evenly distributed along both long sides of the upper side of the container.
The container is typically intended to protect comparatively flat rectangular shaped elements, often with a height exceeding the length of the short side. The elements can, as in the illustrated embodiment, also be elongate with a long side which is considerably longer than its height.
If you try to lift the container by lifting in only a couple of loops, the container is tilted and locked in position. Only by lifting at the same time in several places along the upper side of the long side can the container be easily detached from the element. The no less than eight loops allow the container to be easily lifted off by lifting in all eight loops. Since all the loops are along two lines, you can slide both forks of a fork through the two rows of loops and lift off the protective cover.
Fig. 3 shows a second embodiment of the invention seen obliquely from above. Instead of two rows with a total of eight separate loops, the second embodiment has two tubes 2e, 2f which extend along the upper edges of the long sides. In the same way as in the first embodiment, the protective cover can be easily lifted off by threading two forks of a fork into the two tubes.
A typical truck fork has too wide tips to be able to be inserted into the loops or tubes and 2 in addition, the gaps are usually too short to reach through all the loops or through the full length of the tubes.
The protective cover may therefore include a fork specially designed for the purpose, suitable for hanging on an ordinary forklift truck. The fork can also be designed to reach the eyes with the fork in its lowest position, so that even trucks with a limited lifting height are able to lift off the protective cover.
A significant advantage of a protective cover designed according to the invention is that when not in use it can be folded into a small storage volume. If it is sufficient that the protective cover can be folded so that it takes up small storage volume but is allowed to occupy a comparatively large storage area, variants are conceivable where a double-edged fork is fixedly arranged at the protective cover or two separate rods extend along the two edges in which they are illustrated. the embodiments the tubes and the loops are arranged.
The first embodiment comprises four loops in a row on each side, but obviously more or fewer can be used. Typically, however, at least three are required.
